Our Community

St Christopher’s is a small parish with a big heart. Its pastor is Fr Pat Jackson, a Pallottine. Impelled by the love of Christ, our growing parish family welcomes young and old of various nationalities, and is engaged in apostolic service to the city of Waverley. We are motivated by the spirit of St Vincent Pallotti who focuses our following of Jesus, and calls us all to be responsible for Christ’s mission to the world.

Our parish church is situated at the top of Doon Avenue surrounded by spacious parking for church-goers and sports areas which the public frequently use at weekends (see Parish Map). As a community we are seeking new ways to bring the Good News of Jesus to everyone.

What we have seen and heard we proclaim in turn to you so that you may share life with us. This fellowship of ours is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. Indeed our purpose in writing you this is to share our joy with you [I Jn 1:3].
